Guthrie Light Christmas Parade

Although led by the Territorial Governor Candidates, the Lighted Parade is our one non-historic themed yearly event.

Following the Opening Day festivities, this nighttime parade kicks off at 6:00 p.m. from the Scottish Rite Temple. From there the glittering promenade of illuminated cars, trucks, dune buggies and even be-lighted people head west along Oklahoma Avenue.

The Parade ends at the corner of 2nd St and Oklahoma Ave. and is immediately followed by the Territorial Governor Ceremonies on the front steps of the Post Office.

Sulphur Christmas Parade of Lights

The streets of downtown Sulphur will glow brightly during the Lighted Christmas parade this November as lighted floats make their way the promenade. Celebrate the holiday season at this year's Ardmore Parade of Lights. Watch as glowing floats, vintage cars, marching bands and a variety of performers who sing, dance, twirl and even bounce basketballs make their way through the historic downtown area towards the Santa Fe Depot.
Area merchants will also pull out all the stops with window decorations and lights, so stroll down the streets of Ardmore and rejoice in the city's light-filled holiday season opener. Participate in a wide array of holiday activities and be sure to keep an eye out for a special visit from Mr. and Mrs. Claus in a horse-drawn carriage at the end of the parade.

Christmas in the Park & Parade Harrah

Attend the annual Christmas in the Park & Parade and grant the kids the chance to meet Santa and the Grinch in person. Before the parade, children are invited to visit Santa's workshop to make holiday crafts and write letters to Santa. Local school choirs and bands can be seen and heard performing in the park's amphitheater throughout the event.
There will be free train rides around the park and over forty-seven light displays to see after the parade. During the tree lighting ceremony and enjoy the sounds of traditional Christmas carols. Whether savoring food truck eats, watching Christmas floats or snapping photos with Santa and the Grinch, usher in the holiday season with a dose of winter magic at the Christmas in the Park & Parade. Andover Tree Lighting & Lights in Central Park

Bring the whole family out to enjoy the festivities as Central Park is transformed into a winter wonderland with luminaries lining the sidewalks, illuminated trees, and activities for everyone.

The evening begins at 4:30 p.m. this year, with the tree lighting to take place at 6 p.m. (once it's dark).

A variety of activities will be available throughout 4:30 - 8 p.m. including photos with Santa, crafts for kids, live music, hay rack rides, s'mores with first responders, hot beverages and more. Activities will take place in Central Park - at the Andover Public Library, Andover City Hall, Capitol Federal Amphitheater stage, and in the Lodge.

While you are at the park, you must also take a minute to enjoy the amazing light show coordinated to music at the Capitol Federal Amphitheater and other areas of the park.

The Hometown Christmas event is not only fun for families but also benefits the entire community. Attendees of Hometown Christmas are encouraged to donate canned goods and cash to benefit the local Caring and Sharing and the Andover Food Bank.
