BioBlitz: Bickham-Rudkin Park

Edmond Urban Forestry is hosting a virtual BioBlitz this September as part of a nationwide Parks for Pollinators initiative by the National Recreation and Park Association.
For a whole month, community members can help create a snapshot of the variety of wildlife that can be found in Bickham-Rudkin Park. We use a no-cost app called iNaturalist to take pictures of plants, insects and animals to see what wildlife is present in the park during this month.
We also have several opportunities to get involved during this BioBlitz event. More details for each event is available through the main event listing:

74th Annual Cherokee National Holiday

Cross Brand Ranch Versatility Horse Show

Current NEGATIVE Coggins Required
Class Order:
Morning: Reining and Cattle Boxing. Each exhibitor will complete their reining pattern, then immediately turn and call for their cow for the Cattle Boxing Class.
Afternoon: Ranch Pleasure.
We will have an Outdoor Trail Course to walk up and compete AT WILL from 10am-1pm.
We have Individual Show All Around Awards, Series All Around Buckles, Series Reserve Champion Saddle Stands, and Series Class High Point Custom Awards!
Here's some information and guidelines:
There is no minimum show requirement for awards, but all series points count. One horse/rider combination for awards.
Horse/Rider combination must compete in all 4 classes to be eligible for All Around Awards.
If qualified, a horse/rider may enter multiple Divisions.
A horse may be ridden in more than one Division by different riders.
Open = Any Rider on Any Horse.
Amateur Division = Non Professional Rider/Rider or Immediate Family Member must own Horse.
Green Horse Division = Horses that have less than two years of showing experience and have not won any money or breed association points. Any rider may ride any eligible horse.
Novice = Riders that have limited (less than two years of showing experience) in these classes. Novice riders may ride any horse.
EDIT TO NOVICE & GREEN HORSE DIVISIONS for competitors that have shown at these shows: For previous years 2022 & 2023 we will have a point cap at 85 points per series. If the horse/rider combination earned more than 85 points in the Green Horse or Novice Divisions, they must advance to a different division at these shows. If the horse/rider combination is below the 85 point cap and have been competing for 2 years, they may remain in that division.
Senior Youth = Any Youth Rider 18 yrs and under as of January 1st, 2024. Any Horse.
Junior Youth = Any Youth Rider 12 yrs and under as of January 1st, 2024. Any Horse.
Junior Youth Lead line = Any Rider 12 yrs and under as of January 1st, 2024. Any Horse. They may be assisted by a person on the ground, or assisted through their patterns with another horse/rider.
Tie Breaker for Series Awards is the Total Points Earned by Class through the Series in this order: 1. Cattle Boxing Class 2. Reining Class 3. Ranch Trail Class 4. Ranch Pleasure Class
