Edmond Urban Forestry is hosting a virtual BioBlitz this September as part of a nationwide Parks for Pollinators initiative by the National Recreation and Park Association.
For a whole month, community members can help create a snapshot of the variety of wildlife that can be found in Bickham-Rudkin Park. We use a no-cost app called iNaturalist to take pictures of plants, insects and animals to see what wildlife is present in the park during this month.
We also have several opportunities to get involved during this BioBlitz event. More details for each event is available through the main event listing:

Join us for the Cross Brand Fall Series Ranch Cutting Show Series at the Cross Brand Cowboy Church in Waurika, OK! This three-part event series takes place on Fridays: September 4th, October 2nd, and November 13th. Shows begin promptly at 10:00 until 18:00 and feature 13 diverse classes, including Futurity, Maturity, Open, Youth, Legends, and a special Brid less Cutting Benefit Class. High-point series buckles will be awarded! Please note that a $25 CW Circuit yearly membership fee applies per rider, and a current negative Coggins test is strictly required for all horses.
