Are you a teenager who nerds out about nature or history? Are you looking for a cool place to spend your summer? Are you hoping to gain practical experience in a museum setting? If so, then the Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History has the perfect opportunity for you!
During this free seven-week Teen Volunteer Program, museum enthusiasts ages 13 to 17 will traverse Oklahoma’s natural and cultural history through exclusive behind-the-scenes tours and conversations with scientists. Through volunteer opportunities, participants will learn from hands-on experience in a museum setting. At the end of the program participants will showcase what they learned in a fair for their friends and family.

Epic Australian Adventure - First Lutheran Church VBS

Join us Monday, June 9th - Thursday, June 12th from 9:00AM-Noon as we embark on an epic adventure through Australia! We'll encounter amazing animals, lush landscapes, stunning sea life, and wondrous wilderness. And most importantly, we'll be guided by our Savior, Jesus, who tells us, I am the way, and the truth, and the life in our theme verse, John 14:6.
Magnified Vacation Bible School

Redeemer Lutheran Church at 3700 Woodland Rd. in Bartlesville invites you to attend Vacation Bible School 2025 FREE of charge. June 9 - 12 from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. This year we will look closely at the details of God’s amazing world, and magnify, or proclaim, the greatness of God. God made us, cares about us, loves us, forgives us, and is faithful to keep all His promises to us. Ages 3 to 5th Grade. VBS at Henderson Hills

Get ready for the ride of your life at VBS 2025! We have four action-packed days filled with worship, Bible stories, snacks, games, missions, and so much fun! This summer, kids who have completed K-5th grades will discover that up and down, and in between, God is with us; He never leaves. VBS is June 9-12 from 9 am - 12 pm and is completely free! Summer Explorers

The event officially begins June 9th, 2025, where daily events (each with separate registrations) are held between 9 am and 5 pm, ending August 1st, 2025.
Join us this summer at the Sam Noble Museum and experience science first-hand through a variety of discovery-based programs. Each week-long, two-hour Summer Explorers program (children ages 6-7, 8-9, and 10-12) features a different natural or cultural history theme.
REGISTRATION
Don't miss out! Space is limited and advance registration is required. Visit the Sam Noble Museum website to register. For questions or accommodations on the basis of disability, please contact Visitor Services at (405) 325-7977. Cost: $80 (Member youth); $100 (Non-member youth).
Required program forms will be sent via confirmation email.
ROBERTA PAILES FUND FOR CHILDREN’S PROGRAMS
A limited number of program fees can be funded for families who demonstrate financial need. Click Here for more information and to apply.
T-SHIRT
Each Summer Explorers youth program participant will receive a T-shirt. Please indicate the size when you register.
OFF-SITE PROGRAM
These programs will take place in the best classroom of all: the great outdoors! We will start at the museum and then travel in museum or university vans to local parks. Booster seats are provided for children 9 and under and are available for children over the age of 9 upon request of parents/guardians. Participants should be dressed to get wet and dirty and must bring a water bottle.
ON-SITE PROGRAMS
These programs will stay on-site to explore the museum's amazing galleries, collections, and outdoor spaces! Participants should bring a jacket (the museum can get chilly) and a water bottle.
