Donor Development Director / Executive Assistant

The House FM and My Praise FM have a position open for a Development Director / Executive Assistant, working full-time at the non-profit organization’s headquarters in Ponca City, Oklahoma. This position will grow our new donor development program, requiring participation in all levels of planning, implementing, and follow-up of the fundraising goals and expectations for the organization. This position also includes serving as the Executive Assistant helping manage and oversee projects. Other duties as assigned.  Desired skills include ability to cultivate relationships with, and solicitation of donations from, major donors. Also, must be organized, flexible, and detail-oriented, with a strong working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.

Part-time or Freelance Graphic Designer

The House FM is a listener-supported Christian radio network serving much of central and western Oklahoma and southern Kansas. Our ministry is seeking a graphic designer to join our marketing team. This is a part-time position, ideal for:

  • College students or young professionals
  • Professionals desiring a part-time, in-house position
  • Professionals desiring a part-time, remote position
  • Freelancers

Responsibilities:

  • Create graphics for all media – digital, print, outdoor, etc.
  • Design and layout a variety of materials, including web pages, social media graphics, collateral, print and outdoor ads, swag, etc.
  • Coordinate with vendors regarding materials, pricing and production schedules.
  • Oversee design projects from conceptualization through delivery, ensuring timeliness and quality.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • High School diploma required. Degree or certificate in marketing, design, art or similar preferred.
  • Portfolio of work required.
  • Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud programs.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills. Ability to set and adhere to deadlines.
  • Experience with social media platforms, digital CMS tools, etc. is necessary.
  • Must possess a desire to impact coworkers and audience members through Christian ministry.

Broadcast Intern

The House FM is a listener-supported Christian radio network serving much of central and western Oklahoma and southern Kansas. Our ministry is seeking a part-time broadcast intern to support our production team in our Ponca City, OK headquarters. This individual will perform a variety of vital tasks necessary to our brand’s on-air product. A House FM broadcast intern will gain valuable knowledge and experience in modern radio broadcasting and programming in an environment that emphasizes teamwork and leadership, personal accountability and ministry. Compensation for this position may include college credit, a stipend, and/or hourly pay.

Responsibilities:

  • Support our DJs and production team in preparation and execution of on-air duties.
  • Work with production software to produce audio, pre-recorded spots, etc.
  • Assist with live production of morning/afternoon shows, including call screening and other tasks.
  • Build on-air skill and experience as an assistant DJ.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate is pursuing post-high school education and experience in broadcasting or a similar field.
  • Outgoing personality, able to interact with our listeners on-air or at concerts and events.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Experience with editing software, script writing, audio/video production or as talent in audio/video productions should be highlighted in resume or portfolio.
  • A desire to impact coworkers and audience members through Christian ministry.
  • This internship is ideal for those pursuing a career in ministry, nonprofit or for-profit sectors.

This individual will perform a variety of vital tasks necessary to the promotion of our brand, music and artists, concerts and outreach events across our listening area. A House FM marketing intern will gain valuable knowledge and experience in a wide array of marketing communications tactics in an environment that emphasizes teamwork and leadership, personal accountability and ministry. Compensation for this position may include college credit, a stipend, and/or hourly pay.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the marketing team in all forms of marketing communication and outreach.
  • Setup and teardown promotional equipment at outreach events and concerts.
  • Interact with audience members during promotional events.
  • Pickup and deliver promotional materials, prizes, etc.

Compensation for this position may include college credit, a stipend, and/or hourly pay.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the office team in all forms of internal operations, organization, communications and team care.
  • Support the team in the execution of external initiatives – donor development, general fundraising, recruiting, community relations, etc.
  • Interact with community leaders, business people, donors and audience members during public events.
  • Pickup and deliver equipment, supplies, promotional materials, prizes, etc. as a representative of our brand.
