An Easter Message
In the days leading up to Jesus’ death and resurrection, his followers were filled with fear and uncertainty. They’d just witnessed the brutal crucifixion of their beloved leader, and didn’t know what the future would hold. They no doubt felt a sense of confusion and hopelessness.
However, even in the midst of this darkness, there was a glimmer of hope. See, Jesus had promised his disciples that He would rise again, and I’m sure that gave them a certain amount of comfort and assurance. They may not have fully understood what this meant, but they held onto the hope that Jesus would somehow overcome death and bring about a new era of redemption and renewal. The days between Christ’s death and resurrection were a time of waiting and uncertainty, but they were also a time of faith and expectation.
